Lennox gives you several ways to fine-tune year-round comfort: two-stage or modulating furnace heat, variable-capacity air conditioning and a cold-climate heat pump. Two-stage heating
The ML296V can use a lower heating output during lighter demand and a higher output when more heat is needed. Its variable-speed blower gives us control over airflow through the central system.
We can recommend it when you want the benefits of staged heating while comparing the complete installation cost with other Lennox options.
Modulating heating
The SLP99V makes smaller changes to heat output and pairs that operation with a variable-speed blower. Those adjustments can help maintain steadier indoor temperatures.
We give this option particular attention when precise heat control is a priority, then assess the ductwork and controls needed to make the most of it.
Plan beyond the heating season
The Lennox SL25KCV adjusts cooling output as demand changes. If summer temperature control is the main goal, we can plan it with the indoor coil, blower and controls as a coordinated air-conditioning installation.
The Lennox SL22KLV adds a heat-pump option to the conversation. We review its cold-weather heating output and the role of a suitable furnace or supplemental heat, then explain how the system will operate through Ottawa’s seasons.
For a heat-pump project, we also review current rebate options for the proposed equipment combination and explain approvals needed before installation.
Lennox installation and service in Ottawa
