Matthew Liddard has spent nearly five years designing residential HVAC systems and helping AirZone customers create healthier, more comfortable homes. Before becoming a Home Comfort Advisor, Matthew built his career in sales and customer service. He now combines those communication skills with specialized HVAC education to help homeowners understand their options and make confident decisions.
Matthew has participated in dozens of supplier-specific training sessions and completed HRAI courses covering indoor air quality, residential ventilation, equipment sizing and air distribution. This training helps him consider how equipment capacity, airflow, ventilation and indoor air quality work together rather than treating each part of the home comfort system separately.
His strongest areas include indoor air quality design, heat-pump sizing and HVAC rebate administration. Matthew has also developed specialized knowledge of heat pumps, packaged terminal air conditioners (PTACs) and ductless heating and cooling systems during his career at AirZone. He understands the technical requirements behind these systems as well as the practical questions homeowners have about comfort, operating costs, available space and rebate eligibility.
Matthew is a genuine people person who enjoys helping customers find solutions that fit their homes and priorities. Whether someone needs better indoor air quality, is considering a cold-climate heat pump or requires a ductless solution for a difficult space, he takes the time to explain the available choices clearly without making the process feel overwhelming.
Matt is happily married and the proud father of three children. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family and being outdoors—especially when he is on the water fishing. He competes in several fishing tournaments each year and consistently finishes on the podium. When he is not with his family or preparing for his next tournament, there is a good chance you will find him enjoying a conversation with someone.
