Amana Furnace & AC Installation in Ottawa

Available from AirZone HVAC Services.

Replacing a furnace is a chance to look at how your home heats. With Amana, the choice between two-stage and modulating equipment starts with the temperatures, airflow and comfort you want to improve.

AirZone installs and services Amana equipment in Ottawa. We help you compare the AR9T96 and ARVM97, assess the ductwork they will use and decide whether central cooling belongs in the same project.

Two furnace approaches

Choose how your furnace delivers heat

The efficiency rating is one part of the comparison. Heating stages and blower operation also matter when you are weighing the installed price against the comfort features you want.

AR9T96: two-stage heat, multi-speed airflow

The AR9T96 has a 96% AFUE rating, two-stage gas heating and a multi-speed blower. Its lower and higher heating outputs provide two levels of heat for changing demand through the season.

We review this option alongside your home’s heating needs, existing airflow and budget. Explore the AR9T96 furnace.

ARVM97: modulating heat, variable-speed airflow

The ARVM97 is rated at 97% AFUE and pairs modulating heating with a variable-speed blower. It adjusts heat output in smaller steps, making it worth discussing when steadier indoor temperatures are a priority.

We explain what those controls and blower features add to your installation and the price difference between the two options. Explore the ARVM97 furnace.

Bring the cold-room problem into the comparison

If a bedroom stays cool or airflow is noisy, tell us before choosing equipment. We assess furnace capacity, ducts and return air together, then explain any airflow, venting, drainage or control changes the replacement needs. That gives you an installation plan to compare alongside the model specifications.

The cooling decision

Keep the air conditioner, or replace it at the same time?

The furnace blower also moves air for central cooling. When we plan your furnace installation, we review the indoor coil, cooling equipment, thermostat and ductwork to explain what can be retained and what needs to change.

If your air conditioner is also aging, the Amana ASXN3N is one central cooling option we can review. We explain the scope and cost of a combined air conditioning installation so you can decide whether to do the work together.

Before choosing your equipment

Review the registered warranty

Eligible Amana furnaces offer 10-year limited parts coverage with registration within 60 days. We confirm the terms for the model in your quote, including heat-exchanger coverage and any unit-replacement protection. Labour coverage is separate.

AirZone supports the systems we install. If service is needed, we explain the repair, parts availability and price before you approve the work. For an existing furnace, start with a furnace service assessment.

Considering a heat pump as part of the project? Review current HVAC rebates against the proposed equipment combination. A furnace or air conditioner on its own does not qualify for a heat-pump rebate.

Before you replace an Amana furnace

Can I have my current Amana furnace assessed before deciding to replace it?

Yes. A furnace service assessment lets us review its condition and explain the repair or replacement options. Tell us about changes in operation, rooms that stay cold and any concerns with airflow so we can include those in the assessment.

Does the registered parts warranty include labour?

Labour coverage is separate from the manufacturer’s limited parts warranty. We explain the coverage for your quoted Amana model, including registration requirements, heat-exchanger protection and any unit-replacement protection, so you can review the terms before choosing your equipment.

Compare the Amana options for your home

Book a home assessment to discuss your furnace, airflow and cooling plans. After the visit, we email a detailed quote with recommended equipment and good, better and best price options, including the installation work behind each choice.
