AirZone HVAC Services provides furnace repairs and replacements, heat-pump installation, air conditioning and ductless systems for Metcalfe homeowners. We work on existing equipment and planned upgrades, with our own technicians handling installation and service. Our Ottawa company is family-owned and has served the region since 2005.
If different parts of your home need different temperatures, we can assess the rooms and the equipment serving them before recommending a change. Our Metcalfe work includes heat-pump installations serving separate zones, as well as ductless equipment. Those projects give us practical experience with more than one way to distribute heating and cooling.
We also help with straightforward furnace or AC replacement, equipment breakdowns and routine maintenance. Tell us what is working well and what needs attention, and we’ll explain the repair or installation options for your home.
A whole-home replacement and a heating problem in one part of the house need different assessments. AirZone installs and services furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps and ductless equipment in Metcalfe, with recommendations based on the rooms and systems involved.
Different schedules, closed doors and separate living areas can affect how you want a system to operate. We start by identifying which rooms belong together and which need their own temperature control. That helps define the coverage expected from each part of the proposed installation.
Our Metcalfe work includes heat-pump equipment serving multiple zones. These installations illustrate the importance of planned room coverage. Existing ducts, indoor equipment and controls all need to suit the arrangement proposed for your home.
During a heat-pump assessment, we also review winter heating capacity, electrical requirements and any furnace or other heating that will remain. We explain how the system will operate in heating and cooling modes and how each area will be controlled.
A ductless mini split is another option for a bedroom, office or addition without suitable ducts.
The assessment considers the room size, layout and placement of the indoor unit. An open space and several enclosed rooms do not have the same distribution needs. We can explain whether the proposed setup serves one area or several, where the outdoor equipment will go and how the connecting lines and drainage will be installed.
If the equipment will also provide winter heat, we include that use in the design rather than selecting it only for summer cooling. The role of any existing heating remains part of the conversation.
A problem in one room or zone can be different from a loss of heating or cooling throughout the home. When requesting heat-pump repair, describe which indoor units are affected, whether the problem occurs in heating or cooling and any error message shown on the controls. Our technician can investigate the connected equipment and explain the fault.
The information helps define the service problem; it does not establish which component has failed. If other zones still operate, mention that too. We assess the system before recommending a repair or discussing replacement, including whether the concern is isolated or part of a wider equipment problem.
For working equipment, heat-pump maintenance should account for the units and zones being used. Indoor filters, coils, drainage, controls and the outdoor equipment all have a role. An accessible outdoor unit does not provide access to every indoor unit that may need attention.
Tell us how many indoor units or separate systems are involved when arranging service, and mention equipment mounted in a difficult-to-reach location. The appointment can then be discussed around the equipment requiring care. A unit that is already leaking, failing to heat or failing to cool needs to be identified as a repair concern.
A new furnace should be selected for the home as it is now. Renovations, insulation improvements or changes to the rooms you use may affect the assessment. Our furnace installation service considers heating needs, duct airflow, venting and compatibility with the connected air conditioner or heat pump.
We also provide furnace repairs when heat becomes unreliable. Repeated shutdowns or a room that will not reach the set temperature do not tell you which component is responsible. We investigate the symptoms, explain the findings and discuss repair or replacement when both deserve consideration.
For a home with several zones, tell us whether the problem affects all of them. That information helps distinguish a whole-system failure from a concern in one area; it does not replace the equipment diagnosis.
An air conditioner that has begun blowing warm air or cooling inconsistently may need diagnostic service. We check the equipment rather than assuming a larger replacement will correct the problem.
When new central AC is appropriate, the indoor coil and available airflow matter alongside the outdoor unit. If your furnace still has useful life remaining, we assess the components you plan to keep. A compatible heat pump can also be considered at this stage, adding a heating function to the cooling replacement.
Our Metcalfe work also includes a water-heater retrofit. Domestic hot water is a separate requirement from space heating, even when both are part of the same renovation. We can discuss water heaters, boilers, ventilation and filtration when planning work on the home’s heating and cooling.
For a planned installation, use the quote form and describe the rooms or equipment you want to address. For a current fault or seasonal care, book service or call 613-592-5770. We’ll help you arrange the appropriate visit and explain the proposed work before you commit to an equipment upgrade.
