The Home Efficiency Rebate (HER) Program, offered by Enbridge Gas, provides Ottawa homeowners up to $5,000 in rebates for implementing at least two qualifying energy-efficient upgrades—such as high-efficiency furnaces, heat pumps, insulation, and ENERGY STAR® windows—to improve home energy efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualification Criteria:
- Homeowner Status: Must own a detached, semi-detached, row townhouse, or mobile home in Ottawa.

- Pre-Retrofit Energy Audit: Complete a Home Energy Assessment by an approved Registered Energy Advisor before starting any upgrades.
- Eligible Upgrades: Implement at least two qualifying energy-efficient upgrades.
- Post-Retrofit Energy Audit: Complete a follow-up assessment within 120 days of the initial audit.
- Documentation: Submit all required receipts and documentation as per program guidelines.
