AirZone HVAC Services is a locally owned Ottawa heating and cooling company providing furnace repair and replacement, air conditioning, heat pumps and ductless systems. Our own installation and service technicians also work on boilers, water heaters and indoor air quality equipment. We have served the Ottawa area as a family-run business since 2005.
You can contact us for an urgent equipment problem, routine maintenance or a planned upgrade. We assess the system already in your home, explain the available work and help you compare options when replacement is worth considering. Our Ottawa installations include furnaces, central cooling and ductless and ducted heat pumps.
Use this page to find the service that fits your equipment, then book an appointment or request a free installation quote. If you are looking for work in a particular neighbourhood or nearby community, our service-area directory provides more local information.
AirZone provides heating and cooling service across Ottawa, from repairing existing equipment to designing and installing a replacement system. Our directly employed technicians support the equipment after installation through maintenance and repairs. The service you need depends on whether something has failed, an appliance is due for replacement or a room needs a different comfort solution.
For a furnace that will not start, shuts down repeatedly or no longer heats properly, our Ottawa furnace repair service investigates the cause. For an air conditioner blowing warm air or developing ice, use AC repair and diagnostics. A heat pump may need attention in heating, cooling or its changeover to backup heat; our heat-pump repair team can assess that system.
Tell us what changed, when it started and whether the whole home is affected. We explain the findings and available repair work before you decide. When a repair raises questions about the equipment’s future, we can discuss replacement alongside its condition and service history.
For urgent heating or cooling help outside office hours, call 613-592-5770. The 24/7 emergency line lets the team assess the situation directly. A new-equipment quote form is intended for planned installations rather than an urgent failure.
Our furnace installation service begins with the home’s heating requirement and existing distribution system. We review the ducts, venting and connections to cooling equipment, along with problems such as uneven temperatures or frequent cycling. Matching the capacity printed on the old furnace is not a substitute for assessing the current home.
When both the furnace and AC are approaching replacement, considering them together can clarify which components should be retained and which need to change. We can explain suitable equipment options and their controls, then identify the installation work included in the proposal. AirZone’s own team handles the installation and operating handover.
A central air conditioner provides cooling through suitable ducts and indoor equipment. The coil, blower airflow and outdoor unit need to work together. We also consider humidity control, room comfort and the location of equipment and drainage.
A heat pump can use a similar distribution arrangement while also supplying electric heat. A hybrid installation retains a compatible furnace for backup. An all-electric plan needs sufficient cold-weather capacity and an appropriate solution for any remaining heating demand.
We assess the electrical requirements, controls and outdoor placement before recommending a configuration. Snow clearance, defrost drainage and access for service matter alongside the indoor installation. The proposal should explain how the selected heat sources will operate together.
A ductless mini split may suit an addition, a home office or an area without useful ducts. We review the space and the intended heating or cooling duty, then plan indoor-unit placement and connecting lines. Closed doors and separate rooms affect coverage, so a single unit should not be assumed to serve an entire floor equally.
Annual HVAC maintenance helps establish how the system is operating and what care it needs. The visit can include appropriate operational checks, accessible cleaning and attention to filters, airflow and drains. Let us know about new noise, comfort changes or equipment you have not had serviced since moving in.
A tune-up and a repair appointment serve different purposes. If the system already has a fault, describe it when booking so the visit can include diagnosis. Tell us which appliances you want covered if your home has separate heating, cooling or hot-water equipment.
AirZone also installs and services boilers, hot-water tanks and tankless water heaters. A radiator-heated home needs a different heating assessment from one with a furnace, and domestic hot-water demand needs its own consideration.
For stale rooms, dust or humidity concerns, we can discuss filtration, humidifiers and HRV or ERV ventilation. Those concerns help identify which part of the home’s comfort system needs attention, even when the thermostat temperature is satisfactory.
